“We are also in the throes of development with regard to logistics. This is evident from the extensive package of services we offer, among other things, such as progressive climate packaging and goods monitoring during transportation. Insight into the flows of goods in all the links of the supply chain is essential, so that the grower, exporter, carrier and customer can all be optimally geared to one another. We recently acquired a European patent for the mechanised processing of plants for transportation, and are co-initiator of a line for rail transportation. Hence we aim to continue to maintain as broad a focus as possible."
