Do you get restless from sitting inside and is you heart making a little jump in the spring when you can enter your garden again? Great news! Now that there is longer light outside, a lot of us are working at home and the sunny spring weather is coming, it is time for some extra spring inspiration. Let’s go gardening: we’ve made a list of our spring favourites.

Colour, colour and more colour

Everyone gets happy from a colourful garden and that is something we can use right now. The Dianthus ‘Pink Kisses’ and Dianthus ‘Peach Party’ are real mood makers in the garden (It’s all in the name). Both flowers fit perfectly with the current trend colours. Next to that the flowers of the ‘Pink Kisses’ are slightly fragrant and the peach-coloured flowers of the ‘Peach Party’ will get a bright red flower heart in the summer. Complete the garden with the Osteospermum better known as the African Daisy and don’t forget the Felicia Amelloides Felicitara, also known as the blue daisy bush. This flower blossoms profusely with a beautiful blue sea of flowers as a result.

Hang in there

Do you have a little bit less space outside, than hanging baskets are ideal! For example, fill them with the Sutera Cordata: a real all-rounder. But they’ll shine best in baskets or pots where her stems and flowers can hang deeply over the edge. The exuberant Calibrachoa and Petunia love to join her, these exuberant bloomers do well in hanging baskets, pots or containers. That’s how you change your garden or balcony in a great spring feeling in no time.

Sun lovers

With some sun, a vacation in your own garden isn’t bad. Choose for Lavender, with her great smell and beautiful flowers you’ll feel like you’re in the Mediterranean for a moment. Just like the Lithodora Diffusa with her blue flowers, they will attract a lot of cosiness in the form of bees and butterflies.

Stay home

No garden or terrace, or is the balcony very small? Don’t worry; you can also get the spring into your house. At Dobbeflowers in the GTC, you’ll find plenty of spring flowers that look beautiful in a vase. Combine different spring flowers like the anemone, ranunculi, tuberose, violet or waxflower for a cheerful bouquet.

The plants mentioned above can be viewed and purchased online. Underneath this inspiration blog we have put some recommendations that you can directly order.
